Nena Dashuri Agrotourism was born out of love for family, tradition, and the rich heritage of Dibra. Our journey began in 2008, when we decided to embrace the land of our ancestors and turn our passion for traditional food into a sustainable business.
At first, our goal was simple: to support our family and preserve the authentic flavors of our region. We started by making handmade jufka, a signature Dibra product, following traditional methods passed down through generations. The dedication to quality and authenticity quickly earned us recognition, and what began as a small home-based production soon gained attention beyond our community.
As demand grew, we expanded our offerings to include trahana, homemade jams, dairy products, and more, all made with locally sourced ingredients. Our orchards, rich with cherries, apples, plums, and hazelnuts, allowed us to craft unique products while staying true to our commitment to quality and sustainability.
In 2018, during a meeting with Prime Minister Edi Rama, we shared our vision of transforming our production into an authentic agrotourism experience, where visitors could not only taste but also witness the preparation of traditional foods. This dream became a reality when we received government support to develop Nena Dashuri Agro Tourism, the first agrotourism destination in Peshkopi.
After a year and a half of dedication and hard work, our doors officially opened on December 30, 2019.
At Nena Dashuri Agro Tourism, we offer more than just food – we offer an experience. Guests can enjoy:
We take pride in preserving the cultural heritage of Dibra while also contributing to the local economy by creating jobs and supporting local farmers.
